Community of Practice on Belonging: Thursday group

Community of Practice on Belonging: Thursday group Online

Research shows that a sense of belonging positively impacts students' motivation, engagement, retention and overall well being. By promoting belonging, instructors can ensure students feel respected and connected, and able to bring their authentic selves into the classroom. While this may sound appealing, how exactly do instructors foster belonging in their courses? This is something our Community of Practice, open to instructors of all ranks and disciplines, will explore this academic year.

For the spring semester, we will meet in two groups: Thurdays and Fridays. Please pick the one that works best for you each month.
