Lunch & Learn for Chairs & PALs: Sharing the Load of Service in the Department In-Person
Join us for Lunch & Learn for Chairs (Main Campus), PALs (Program Area Leads) and Associate Directors in Schools. Connect with fellow leaders over lunch. You are welcome to bring your questions, ideas, or challenges—or simply listen in and engage in your table's conversation. This event is sponsored by the Office for Faculty Excellence and is exclusively for chairs, PALs and associate directors.
The focus of this Lunch & Learn is Sharing the Load of Service in the Department. Lunch will be ready at 12:15 and at 12:30 Emily will lead a Q&A on this topic with two experienced chairs, Lyndal Khaw (Family Science and Human Development) and Jessica Restaino (Writing Studies). We will have time for Q&A and full group and then table discussions.
Please let us know by Friday morning, November 8th (10am) if you plan to attend, so we can ensure the correct catering order.

Professor and Executive Director of the Office for Faculty Excellence, has been at Montclair State University for 25 years. Her areas of research expertise include higher education pedagogy, teaching writing, assessment, and public higher educational practices.
