Generative AI 101

Generative AI 101 Online

Worried or curious about how generative AI is affecting teaching and learning? Wondering what you should do in your courses? For instructors who haven't had a chance to investigate ChatGPT or other Generative AI, this session will provide an introduction and some live demos of what ChatGPT and other tools can do. If you have an assignment you'd like to try, we'll run it through for you so we can all view together what the tools can do. We'll end with a few steps for instructors to take as they plan for fall courses.

There will be the option to stay beyond the initial 30 minutes for further discussion. For more on Generative AI, see Practical Responses to Generative AI.
