Leaders and Faculty Focus Group: Mid-career Faculty Needs Assessment

Leaders and Faculty Focus Group: Mid-career Faculty Needs Assessment Online

Luis Huarcaya, a graduate student in industrial and organizational (I/O) psychology, is interning with the Office for Faculty Excellence and performing a needs assessment for mid-career faculty at Montclair.

We invite leaders and mid-career faculty to a focus group, led by Luis. You will have the opportunity to share your thoughts and suggestions. These will not be shared further in any form that identifies individuals.

The insights gathered will inform future initiatives, workshops, and programs that support faculty in achieving a sustainable work-life balance and maintaining career advancement. The goal is to create a supportive environment that acknowledges the complex demands of mid-career faculty and offers targeted solutions that enhance professional development and overall well-being. By engaging directly with leaders and faculty and understanding their perspectives, this project will provide a data-driven basis for improving faculty experiences at Montclair State University and ensuring that mid-career professionals have access to the resources and support they need to thrive.
