Lunch and Learn: Navigating Reappointment, Tenure, and Promotion as International Faculty In-Person

The next session in our International Faculty Lunch and Learn series will focus on navigating tenure, reappointment, and promotion as international faculty. International faculty often face unique challenges in career advancement compared to their US-born and US-trained counterparts. Research shows that, depending on their field and training, international faculty may struggle with productivity, career progression clarity, job satisfaction, and a sense of belonging. They are also less likely to be retained by their institutions long-term. Join us for a conversation with Interim Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs Emily Isaacs and bring your questions. This session will address the needs of both early-career and mid-career faculty. Lunch will be provided.
