Just for Adjuncts: Time Management for a Successful Spring Semester Online
Time management is an essential skill for adjuncts, many of whom have challenging schedules with seemingly too much to do and too little time in which to do it. And unfortunately, time is fixed; we can’t make more of it. However, time is manageable. By applying effective time management and productivity skills to the work that you need to do, you can establish thoughtful intentions and realistic expectations. In doing so, you will not only have a better handle on your time, but you will also be able to approach your teaching in a more efficient manner and have a better work/life balance. This is important for both your well-being and professional development.
In this workshop, you will take the time to map out your lesson planning, teaching, and grading this semester and begin to develop a plan for success, which will have a positive impact on both you and your students.
