Adjunct Teaching Collective Informational Session Online
Teaching as an adjunct can be rewarding, but isolating. This fall, join a small group of colleagues committed to improving their teaching practices and solving real classroom challenges together in Montclair's new Adjunct Teaching Collective.
Led by fellow adjunct faculty member Barry Ehrlich (Department of Educational Foundations), the program will feature:
-
A sustained professional community grounded in trust and shared inquiry
-
Structured feedback tailored to your specific goals and classroom challenges
-
Protocols that ensure balanced participation — every voice heard and considered
Research on professional learning communities links this kind of structured peer collaboration to real gains in teacher confidence and student outcomes.
Join a cohort of 6–10 peers who commit to meeting in person for 2 hours each month to improve their practice, support one another, and strengthen student learning.
