Leadership development for chairs: Delegation and administration In-Person
In follow-up to early workshops on conflict management and implicit bias, this workshop is focused on another idea that is easy to understand but had to do: effectively delegating tasks and managing projects without in fact doing it all oneself. In this workshop, led by soon-to-graduate I/O student Andrew Ciechanowski, with support from Ken Sumner and Emily Isaacs, participants will gain knowledge, skills, and practice in task delegation and administration. Come to the workshop with a sense of some upcoming projects you'd like to practice with, and if you're at a loss for options, take a look at the Chairs tickler file for ideas. The workshop will include a well-deserved lunch for our hard-working chairs.
