University Leaders on Preparations for Teaching in Fall 2022 In-Person / Online

In preparations for the new teaching semester, Senior Vice President and Provost Junius Gonzales will be joined by Vice President for Student Development and Campus Life Dawn Soufleris, Dean of Students Margaree Coleman-Carter, and Emily Isaacs, Office for Faculty Excellence. Leaders will make remarks updating the faculty on plans for the Fall 2022 semester, and then answer questions. To make the process easier, please submit your question in advance, by Monday, August 22 ideally, via this survey form.

All instructors are welcome (but not required!) to attend, but please know that questions and their answers will be used to update the OFE's Teaching FAQs

Junius Gonzales

is the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at Montclair State University.  Gonzales brings extensive experience as a leader in higher education. He has served as the chief academic officer at the University of Texas-El Paso (UTEP), a Hispanic-Serving Institution, which like Montclair is committed to serving a diverse 21st-century student demographic and one that has achieved R1 designation as a top tier research university. Gonzales led efforts at UTEP that significantly increased student retention and degree completion, expanded online programs, and helped to increase faculty and student research.
