Sangeeta Parashar is an Associate Professor and Deputy Chair of Sociology as well as Program Director of the International Studies minor. Her research focuses on maternal and child health, aging and care-giving, and student advising and pedagogy. She received the CHSS Dean's Award for Excellence in Teaching (Associate Professor) in 2024.
