Jan Collins-Eaglin

Dr. Jan Collins-Eaglin was the Director of the Michigan State University Counseling Center and of Wayne State University Student Support Services - which included Counseling and Psychological Services, Disability Services, and the Academic Success Center. She is a senior advisor for the National College Depression Partnership and has presented at national and international conferences on collegiate mental health. She developed nationwide mental health programs for African American women through Alpha Kappa Alpha, Inc. and The Links, Incorporated, both international African American women's community service organizations.

 

Dr. Collins-Eaglin holds a Bachelor's degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills, a Master of Psychology, Education Specialist, and a Doctorate from the University of Michigan. She is a Steve Fund Mental Health Expert and a Coach for the Steve Fund Equity in Mental Health on Campus initiative.
